Integrated CCI (controlled cryptographic items) component

A CCI component that is designed to be incorporated into an otherwise unclassified communication or information processing equipment or system to form a CCI equipment or CCI system. Note: The integrated CCI component cannot perform any function by itself. It obtains power from the host equipment. An integrated CCI component may take a variety of forms (see paragraph 8 of the basic Instruction regarding the terminology for CCI component).
